COLD AND HEAT PROTECTION

As a rule, pitched roofs are double-layered, have insulating benefits and provide a more pleasant indoor climate. In winter, the well-insulated pitched roof keeps the cold out and keeps the interior comfortable and warm.

In the summer, the roof construction protects against overheating.

On the other hand, flat roofs are usually a single layer roof structure.

SOUND AND NOISE PROTECTION

The double-layered, ventilated design (formerly known as cold roof) combined with good insulation provides protection from noise from wind and rain, as well as environmental noise pollution such as aircraft and traffic noise.

Unlike flat roofs, rain does not hit the roof surface perpendicularly.

This results in a calmer atmosphere and a more relaxed feeling of space.
